1. About ProofGateway
ProofGateway ("ProofGateway", "we", "us", or "our") provides a software platform that enables businesses to collect, manage, and display customer testimonials on their own websites.
ProofGateway provides technical infrastructure only. We do not create, verify, endorse, validate, or authenticate testimonial content.
By accessing or using ProofGateway, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use ProofGateway.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Description of the Service
ProofGateway allows users to create public testimonial collection pages, receive testimonial submissions, moderate content, and display selected testimonials on external websites.
ProofGateway does not review or moderate content by default.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and truthfulness of testimonial content, obtaining consent from testimonial authors, complying with advertising and consumer protection laws, and determining which testimonials are published.
5. Testimonial Content Disclaimer
Testimonials represent the opinions of their authors and are selected and published by the business using ProofGateway. They do not represent the views or endorsement of ProofGateway.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use ProofGateway to publish unlawful, misleading, or deceptive content, impersonate others, fabricate testimonials, or interfere with the service.
7. Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of testimonial content. You grant ProofGateway a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display content solely to operate the service.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
9. Service Availability
ProofGateway is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofGateway is not liable for testimonial content, disputes between businesses and customers, or indirect or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
