How ProofGateway Works

ProofGateway lets you collect customer customer proof through a simple link and display them on a Trust Wall™ or embed them on your website.

Customers don't need an account to submit. Setup takes minutes and no coding is required. You approve submissions from your dashboard, then share your wall link or paste an embed snippet (Pro).

Getting started

  • Sign up at Create workspace. Use a strong password (8+ characters, uppercase, lowercase, number).
  • Confirm your email — Click the link in your inbox (any device). Expired? Use "Resend confirmation email" on the error page.
  • Complete onboarding — Set your business name and public link. Your URLs will use the form proofgateway.com/t/your-link and proofgateway.com/w/your-link.
  • Copy your Trust Collection Link from Settings or Customer Proof, share it with customers, then approve submissions from your Dashboard.

Collecting customer proof

  • Your Trust Collection Link is proofgateway.com/t/your-link. Find it in Settings (Public link) or on the Customer Proof page.
  • Share the link via email, chat, or your site. Submitters do not need an account.
  • Submissions arrive as Pending until you approve or reject them.

Moderating submissions

On the Customer Proof page you can:

  • Filter — All, Pending, Approved, or Rejected.
  • Approve or reject — Approved customer proof appear on your wall and in embeds.
  • Edit — Fix name, role/company, or body before or after approval.

Two ways to display your customer proof

  • Public wall (free) — Your approved customer proof live at proofgateway.com/w/your-link. Share this URL in emails, on social media, or link to it directly from your site. It updates automatically whenever you approve a new customer proof. No setup needed.
  • Website embed (Pro) — Go to Dashboard → Widgets, choose a widget type (Grid, Slider, Badge, or Quote), then click Copy embed code. Paste the one-line snippet into your site — works in Webflow, WordPress, Framer, Shopify, and any HTML page. No coding required. To resize, adjust the height value in the snippet.
  • Appearance — Theme, density, and avatar/role are configured in Widgets and apply to all embeds. Accent color and wall layout are configured in Settings and apply to your Trust Wall™ only.

Turn customer proof into downloadable social graphics

  • Open Social Studio from your dashboard and choose any approved customer proof.
  • Pick a theme (Light, Dark, or Gradient) and a format (Square or Landscape), then preview the final design live.
  • Your workspace branding is applied automatically. The export uses your business name, accent color, tagline, and logo if you have added one in Settings.
  • Click Download Image to save a PNG, then post it manually on LinkedIn, X, or Instagram. ProofGateway does not publish directly to social platforms for you.

White-Label & branding

The White-Label add-on (Pro only) removes ProofGateway branding from the collection form, wall, and embeds so only your logo and name appear.

Manage it from Billing or the Upgrade page. Your accent color (set in Settings) still applies as a subtle brand highlight on the wall.

  • Free — Collect and moderate. Trust Collection Link and wall work. Embeds show an upgrade message.
  • Pro — Unlocks embeds, bulk import, and the White-Label add-on option.

  • Pro users can open the Stripe Customer Portal from Billing to update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel.

Frequently asked questions

Do customers need an account to submit?

No. They open your Trust Collection Link, fill in name, role/company, and customer proof, then submit. No sign-up required.

Can I change my public link?

Yes, a limited number of times (e.g. twice). After that, contact support. When you change it, old URLs redirect to the new link automatically.

Do old links break if I change my slug?

No. Old collection and wall URLs redirect to your new link so existing shares keep working.

Can I remove ProofGateway branding?

Yes. The White-Label add-on (Pro) removes ProofGateway branding from the collection form, wall, and embeds so only your brand shows.

Is it mobile-friendly?

Yes. Collection forms, the Trust Wall™, and embeds are responsive and work on mobile and tablet.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Pro users can open the Stripe Customer Portal from Billing to cancel or update payment. No long-term contracts.

How do I get my Trust Collection Link?

After onboarding, find it in Settings (Public link) or on the Customer Proof page. Format: proofgateway.com/t/your-link.

I didn't receive the signup confirmation email.

Check spam/junk. Links expire in about an hour. If expired, use "Resend confirmation email" on the error page. You can open the new link on any device.
